Health Sector Training
Lean Certification for Health Professionals
Four belt levels designed for Canadian health sector environments: from introductory awareness through to senior program leadership. All programs are developed and delivered by practising Lean and clinical experts.
About This Program
Built for Canadian Health
Generic Lean training teaches tools. These programs teach Lean in the specific context of healthcare: the patient as the unit of value, clinical workflows, regulated environments, unionized workforces, and the pressure to improve without disrupting care. That specificity is what makes the difference between training that gets filed away and training that people actually use.
Our healthcare belt programs are developed with clinical and healthcare operations experts who have led improvement programs in Canadian hospitals, long-term care homes, public health units, and community health organizations. Each program builds on the last, creating a clear pathway from awareness to senior Lean leadership.
These are Lean QI programs: Lean and quality improvement taught as one discipline, mapped to the QI roles health organizations actually staff. The Lean foundation stays; the pathway aligns to your accreditation requirements (Accreditation Canada, Qmentum) and, in Ontario, to your Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) targets, with similar quality mandates across the provinces.
